Potter Pond House

The Potter Pond house is a 4 bedroom, 2800 square foot home inspired by the Passive House standard, but not certified. It was built for a family of six (mom, dad, and 4 children) that was inspired by the comfort, indoor air quality, and durability that the Passive House program ensures in every project. The exterior materials were selected for their maintenance-free characteristics - white cedar shingles left to weather and James Hardie board and batten cement board. The interior was designed with smaller shared bedrooms for the children and larger common areas for the family to gather. The spaces are clean and modern with polished concrete floors, plaster walls, and simple wood trim.
